What's included

No small print, no surprises. Here's exactly what your trip covers, and the few things it doesn't.

Included

  • Return flight tickets, India ↔ Tokyo, economy class (on the Flock plan)
  • Visa guidance from start to finish: document checklist, covering letter and help at every step
  • Hotel for every night of the trip
  • Daily breakfast
  • Dinner every night at an Indian restaurant
  • Your teamLab ticket
  • Entry to everything on the itinerary
  • Tokyo Skytree ticket to the main viewing floor (350 m high)
  • A guide with you every day, speaking English, Hindi and Japanese
  • Getting around on every itinerary day, including the airport pick-up and drop

Not included

  • The very top of Tokyo Skytree (450 m high). If you want to go higher, you can buy that ticket there
  • Pocket Wi-Fi (an optional SIM with 10 GB of data is ₹2,000)
  • Flight tickets, if you pick the Waddle plan. It's the same trip without flights: you buy your own tickets and we meet you in Tokyo
  • Japan visa fees (we guide you through the application from start to finish)
  • Shopping and personal extras

Flights and luggage

On the Flock plan, your flight tickets are included: economy class from India to Tokyo and back.

Luggage is usually one check-in bag of up to 23 kg, plus a small cabin bag. The exact allowance depends on the airline, so we confirm it with your tickets.

Day 8 is a shopping day, so leave a little room in your bag.

Getting around

We pick you up at the airport when you land and take you back on the last day.

How we travel each day depends on the size of your group: a private car for small groups, a coach for bigger ones, and trains or the metro on some days, always with your guide.

You never need to work out a ticket machine or a train line yourself.

Your guide

A guide is with your group every day of the trip.

They speak English, Hindi and Japanese, so menus, signs and questions are never a problem.

Food

Good Indian food is guaranteed: dinner every night is at an Indian restaurant.

Want to try Japanese food one evening instead? Just tell your guide and they'll sort it out.

Breakfast is included every day. We can't promise vegetarian options at breakfast, but your guide will point you to veg-friendly choices.

Tokyo Skytree

Your ticket takes you up to the main viewing floor, 350 m high, with views across the whole city.

Going all the way to the top (450 m) costs extra. If you'd like to go up, you can buy that ticket at Skytree on the day.
